HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
Delivery time depends on your location, usually 3 to 7 business days.
Once your order is dispatched, we’ll send tracking so you can follow it the whole way.
CAN I USE AFTERPAY OR FINANCE?
Yes. We offer Afterpay (up to $4,000) and finance options so you can ride now and pay it off over time (approval and limits depend on the provider).
HOW FAR CAN I RIDE ON A SINGLE CHARGE?
Range depends on rider weight, terrain, wind, tyre pressure, and assist level.
Most riders see around 50 to 100km (depending on model) per charge in typical conditions.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE THE BATTERY?
Most Cooly Bikes charge in around 1 to 5 hours using the charger included with your bike.
WHY DOES MY BATTERY LEVEL DROP A COUPLE OF BARS QUICKLY?
Totally normal. Battery indicators can drop faster at the start depending on load and voltage behaviour.
For a more accurate check, use the battery’s indicator (button on top of the battery) and keep an eye on real world range.
HOW LONG WILL MY BATTERY LAST BEFORE NEEDING REPLACEMENT?
Battery lifespan depends on use and care. With normal riding and good charging habits, many riders get years of use.
We also stock replacement batteries and parts for our models.
CAN I RIDE MY E-BIKE IF THE BATTERY DIES?
Yes. You can still pedal it like a normal bike, it’ll just feel heavier than a standard bicycle.
HOW CAN I MAXIMISE BATTERY LIFE AND RANGE?
- Keep tyres at the right pressure
- Use lower assist levels when you can
- Avoid full-throttle starts (smooth acceleration helps)
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place
- If storing for a while, don’t leave the battery completely flat
ARE YOUR E-BIKES WATER-RESISTANT? CAN I RIDE IN THE RAIN?
Yes, you can ride in the rain.
It’s not a 4x4 though, so don’t ride through deep puddles. It can handle being left in light rain, but we don’t recommend leaving it out in heavy rain all day.
DO E-BIKES NEED REGULAR MAINTENANCE?
Yes. Like any bike, regular maintenance keeps it running smooth.
We recommend a service once a year or every 2,000km (whichever comes first).
Basic maintenance includes:
- Brake checks and adjustments
- Tyre pressure checks
- Chain lubrication
- General bolt and safety checks
WHY IS MY SHOCK CREAKING?
If there’s a creak, it’s often the preload adjustment collar (the ring you can twist at the top of the spring). Tighten it slightly and the creak usually disappears.
WHAT’S THE CLICKING NOISE OVER BUMPS?
If you hear clicking over bumps, it can come from the lower frame pivot point. A small adjustment and lubrication can often fix it.
