Version-Specific Information
Know Which Version You Own
Some Cooly bikes are available in separate 250W Public-Road Versions and 750W Private-Property Versions. Use only the information provided for the version you purchased.
250W Public-Road Version
Use the setup, controls and ownership information supplied for your 250W Public-Road Version and check the current rules where you ride.
750W Private-Property Version
The 750W Private-Property Version is a separate configuration intended for private-property use where permitted.
Advanced 750W settings information is not published through this public support hub.
If you're unsure which version you own or which information applies to your bike, contact the Cooly Crew before changing any settings.
Before You Ride
A Quick Check Goes a Long Way
Before heading out, take a moment to give your Cooly a simple visual check.
Tyres
Make sure the tyres look in good condition.
Brakes
Make sure the brakes are operating normally.
Battery
Make sure the battery has enough charge for your ride.
Components
Make sure the wheels, handlebars and other components appear secure.
Lights
Make sure the lights are working where applicable.
Visual Check
Make sure there are no obvious signs of damage or loose components.

Battery systems differ across the Cooly range.
Some bikes use a single-battery system, while models such as the Double Up and Double Bolt use dual-battery architectures.
For charging, operation and model-specific battery information, use the guidance for your bike rather than assuming one set of instructions applies across the range.
